How Nonogram works

How do I play Nonogram?

Each row and column has numbers describing the run-lengths of filled cells. For example, a row clue of "2 1" means two filled cells in a row, then at least one empty cell, then one more filled cell. Tap each cell to fill it; use the Mark mode to X out cells you've ruled out as empty.

How are mistakes counted?

Every time you fill a cell that should be empty, the mistake counter ticks up by one. You can still solve the puzzle — your mistake count just shows in the share string. Fewer mistakes is sharper.

Are there hints?

Not yet. The Fill / Mark toggle is the only aid — Mark lets you X out cells you're sure are empty, which keeps your reasoning clean as you work through harder rows.

When does the puzzle reset?

Every day at 00:00 UTC.
